Full itinerary
- The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Cusco as we head toward the South Valley, a region recognized for its traditional landscapes and important historical legacy.
- Our first visit will be to the archaeological complex of Tipón, considered one of the finest examples of hydraulic engineering developed by the Incas. Here, you will appreciate agricultural terraces, water channels, and perfectly preserved stone structures that continue functioning to this day.
- We will then continue to Piquillacta, an ancient city belonging to the Wari culture. This important archaeological center stands out for its planned urban design, wide streets, and adobe and stone constructions that reflect the development of one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations of the Andes.
- The final stop will be in Andahuaylillas, where we will visit the famous Church of Saint Peter the Apostle, renowned for its impressive murals, baroque decorations, and valuable colonial artworks, which is why it is known as the “Sistine Chapel of America.”
- Finally, we will return to Cusco, concluding a cultural experience that perfectly complements your visit to the historical capital of Peru.
