Qeswachaka is the last surviving Inca suspension bridge that continues to be renewed every year by local communities using ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation. - Departure at Sunrise
The adventure begins very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel south through high Andean landscapes and traditional communities. - Cusipata – Andean Breakfast
Along the route, we will stop in Cusipata to enjoy a breakfast that will provide us with energy for the day. - Route of the Lakes
We continue the journey passing by the beautiful lakes of Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnaqocha, and Pampamarca, where you can appreciate the tranquility of the Andean landscape. - Qeswachaka – A Living Tradition
Arrival at the impressive Qeswachaka suspension bridge, hanging above the ApurÃmac River. Here, you will learn about its history, cultural importance, and the traditional reconstruction process carried out each year by local communities. - Free Time to Explore
You will have time to walk around the area, take photographs, and, if you wish, cross the bridge (optional). - Lunch on the Route
After the visit, we will enjoy lunch in a natural setting. - Return to Cusco
Finally, return to Cusco in the afternoon.
