Overview
The Choquequirao trek is one of the most impressive and challenging trekking routes in Peru. Considered the “sacred sister” of Machu Picchu, this Inca citadel remains largely unexplored, allowing visitors to enjoy an authentic experience far from the crowds.
During 4 days, you will travel through spectacular landscapes ranging from the Andes to the deep Apurímac River canyon, surrounded by mountains, snow-capped peaks, and remarkable natural diversity. Along the way, you will cross ancient Inca trails and local communities until reaching one of the country’s most important archaeological complexes.
This trek is ideal for travelers seeking adventure, connection with nature, and a unique cultural experience in the heart of the Andes.
