Full itinerary
- Our adventure will begin early in the morning, approximately at 6:30 a.m., with pickup from your hotel in Cusco to begin the journey toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
- Our first stop will be the traditional village of Chinchero, known for its ancient Inca constructions, beautiful colonial church, and renowned textile traditions. Here, you will learn about the traditional dyeing and weaving process carried out by talented local women.
- We will continue to Moray, famous for its impressive circular terraces that were used by the Incas as an agricultural experimental center to study different microclimates and crops.
- Next, we will visit the spectacular Maras Salt Mines, made up of more than 3,000 salt pools that have been used since pre-Inca times. This site offers one of the most impressive landscapes in the Sacred Valley and the opportunity to learn about the ancestral salt extraction process that continues to this day.
- Afterwards, we will head to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with a wide variety of traditional Peruvian dishes and options for all tastes.
- After lunch, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, known as the “last living Inca city.” Here, we will explore its impressive archaeological complex, composed of enormous terraces, ceremonial temples, water channels, and perfectly preserved constructions. You will also have time to walk through its picturesque cobblestone streets and enjoy spectacular views of the Andes.
- Our next stop will be Pisac, one of the most important archaeological complexes in the Sacred Valley. Its enormous agricultural terraces, ceremonial constructions, and the famous Intihuatana demonstrate the great astronomical and agricultural knowledge of the Inca culture. From here, you will enjoy incredible panoramic views of the valley.
- Finally, we will visit the traditional Pisac Artisan Market, ideal for purchasing handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, and typical regional souvenirs.
- At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco in our tourist transportation and drop you off at the door of your hotel after a day full of history, culture, and unforgettable landscapes.
