Full itinerary
- The adventure begins very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco to start the journey by tourist transportation toward the southern part of the region.
- During the trip, we will pass through beautiful Andean landscapes, small traditional communities, and vast fields surrounded by mountains. After several hours of travel, we will arrive at the area of Phinaya, the starting point of our hike.
- Before beginning the route, we will enjoy breakfast and then start the hike toward the impressive Quelccaya Glacier. During the journey, we will observe crystal-clear lagoons, Andean wildlife, and spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains surrounding the range.
- Upon arriving at the glacier, you will have time to enjoy the scenery, take photographs, and closely admire one of the most impressive ice formations in South America. Our guide will share information about the geological and environmental importance of the glacier, as well as the climate changes currently affecting this natural wonder.
- After enjoying the experience, we will hike back to the starting point to board our transportation back to Cusco.
- Finally, we will arrive in the city at night and drop you off near the Main Square or at a previously coordinated point.
