Overview
Discover Cusco’s history on a half-day tour combining Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, with four archaeological sites on the outskirts of the city. Visit Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay with a professional guide and shared tourist transport.
Admire Sacsayhuamán’s enormous stone blocks, explore Qenqo’s rock-carved spaces and discover Tambomachay’s fountains and channels. Throughout the tour, your guide will explain the history and significance of each site.

Start of the tour
The tour begins at your selected departure time: 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. We will coordinate the meeting details with you before the tour. This shared excursion lasts up to 5 hours.
Qoricancha — Temple of the Sun
Discover one of the most important religious sites of Inca Cusco. During your visit, learn about its significance and see the stone walls preserved alongside colonial buildings.
Sacsayhuamán — Monumental Inca architecture
We will continue by tourist transport to Sacsayhuamán. Its enormous stone blocks and precisely fitted joints are among the highlights of the tour. Your guide will explain the significance of this archaeological complex.
Qenqo — Ceremonial spaces carved in stone
Our next stop is Qenqo, where you can observe rock formations and carved spaces while learning about their connection to Andean ceremonial practices.
Puka Pukara — Architecture and scenery
Explore this archaeological complex and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Your guide will explain its features and its connection to the access routes to Cusco.
Tambomachay — Fountains and channels
Visit a site known for its stone fountains and channels. Learn about the importance of water in the Andean world and observe how it forms part of the site's architecture.
Return to Cusco
After the visits, we will return to the city of Cusco.
