From Ollantaytambo, you will board the train that will take you through breathtaking landscapes until reaching the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu, considered one of the most important wonders of the world.

Upon returning to Cusco, you will take with you unique memories of a journey filled with culture, excitement, and unforgettable moments.
Full itinerary
- Your experience begins early in the morning at 8:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, from where you will depart toward the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas. The first stop will be the picturesque town of Chinchero, recognized for its Inca constructions, cultural heritage, and traditional weaving demonstrations carried out by local artisans.
- Next, you will continue to Moray, a unique archaeological site made up of circular terraces that functioned as an agricultural experimentation center during Inca times, adapting crops to different climatic conditions.
- The next visit will be to the Maras Salt Mines, an impressive complex of more than 3,000 salt pools built along the mountainside. These are still traditionally operated by local families using techniques passed down through generations.
- Afterwards, you will head to Urubamba, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring a varied selection of local and international dishes.
- In the afternoon, you will visit Ollantaytambo, an inhabited Inca town that preserves its original layout, cobblestone streets, and an important archaeological complex.
- From here, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying beautiful landscapes along the journey. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest or, if you prefer, explore the town on your own. You will also have the option to visit the hot springs.
- It is recommended to rest early, as the following day you will visit the impressive citadel of Machu Picchu.
- The most anticipated day of your trip begins very early. After breakfast, you will board the bus that will take you from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, on an approximately 25-minute ride.
- Upon entering, you will witness one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world as the morning light illuminates the Inca citadel. Accompanied by a professional guide, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately two hours through the main sectors, where you will learn about the history, architecture, and significance of this unique site. This tour includes Circuit 2, considered the most complete. If unavailable, the best alternative (Circuit 1 or 3) will be arranged. Therefore, we recommend securing your reservation in advance.
- If you have an additional entrance ticket, you will have the opportunity to hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain on your own, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the complex (optional activity and subject to availability).
- At the end of the visit, you will descend back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch at your own expense and explore the town at your own pace.
- In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, thus concluding an unforgettable experience.
