Cusco – Machu Picchu – Puno Tour 6 Days / 5 Nights

• Reception at the airport or bus terminal and transfer to the hotel. You will have the morning free to acclimatize to the altitude (3,350 m / 10,990 ft above sea level).
• In the afternoon at 13:00 hrs, we will begin the City Tour by visiting the Qoricancha Temple, one of the most important religious centers of the Inca Empire.
• Then we will head to Sacsayhuamán, famous for its impressive walls built with enormous stone blocks. We will continue to Qenqo, an important ceremonial center, followed by Puca Pucara and finally Tambomachay, known for its water fountains and ceremonial function.
• At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco at approximately 18:30 hrs and drop you off at your hotel.

• After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up early, around 06:50 hrs, to begin the tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
• Our first stop will be Chinchero, where you will learn about Andean textile traditions and ancestral techniques that are still preserved today. We will then continue to Moray, an impressive complex of circular terraces used by the Incas as an agricultural experimentation center.
• Afterwards, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines, a complex of thousands of salt pools that are still traditionally operated by local communities.
• After lunch in Urubamba, we will head to Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns, where you will appreciate its original architecture and important historical legacy.
• In the afternoon, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel, and you will have a brief meeting with the guide to coordinate the details of the following day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

• After breakfast at your hotel, you will head to the bus station to travel up to Machu Picchu, on a journey of approximately 30 minutes.
• Upon entering the citadel, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours through its main sectors while learning about its history, architecture, and significance. This tour includes Circuit 2, considered the most complete. If unavailable, the best alternative (Circuit 1 or 3) will be assigned, so we recommend booking in advance.
• At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time to explore on your own and take photographs. If you have an additional pre-booked ticket, you may hike Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain, where you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the complex (optional activity and subject to availability).
• Afterwards, you will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch on your own.
• In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, concluding an unforgettable experience.

• This day we will begin one of the most recommended routes in southern Peru, known as the “Route of the Sun,” which connects Cusco with Puno through impressive Andean landscapes and historical sites.
• We will depart at 06:30 hrs by tourist bus, making guided stops at places of great cultural and historical value. We will visit Andahuaylillas, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America” for its beautiful colonial paintings; then we will continue to Raqchi, home to the impressive Temple of Wiracocha.
• During the journey, we will stop at La Raya, the highest point of the route (4,350 m / 14,271 ft above sea level), offering spectacular views of the Andean highlands. Afterwards, we will visit Pucará, an ancient pre-Inca center known for its traditional ceramics.
• A buffet lunch will be included during the route. Finally, we will arrive in Puno in the afternoon, where we will transfer you to your hotel.

• After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up at approximately 07:00 hrs to begin the boat excursion on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.
• The first visit will be to the floating islands of Uros, where you will learn about the lifestyle of its inhabitants, who build their islands using totora reeds and preserve their ancestral traditions.
• Then we will continue to Taquile Island, recognized for its fine handmade textiles, considered Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Here, you will have the opportunity to interact with the local community and learn about their customs.
• A traditional lunch will be included on the island. In the afternoon, we will return to Puno and transfer you to your hotel.

• After breakfast at your hotel in Puno, we will transfer you to Juliaca Airport or the bus terminal according to your flight schedule.
