Experience one of the most exciting adventures in Cusco by exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Red Valley and the famous Vinicunca, internationally known as Rainbow Mountain.
This incredible tour combines adventure, nature, and Andean culture while traveling through spectacular routes on automatic or semi-automatic ATVs, ideal even for people with no previous experience. During the journey, you will admire snow-capped mountains, colorful landscapes, traditional Andean communities, llamas and alpacas, as well as the impressive Red River, one of the most surprising natural attractions in the region.
It is the perfect option for travelers who want to enjoy a different experience in Cusco, combining adrenaline, moderate hiking, and unforgettable views in the Peruvian Andes.

Full itinerary
- The adventure begins very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco or from the Main Square, according to the coordination made one day before the tour.
- We will travel by tourist transportation for approximately two hours to Cusipata, where we will enjoy breakfast before continuing the journey for about one more hour to our base located in Japura, near Pitumarca.
- Upon arrival, our guide and instructor will provide a safety briefing and ATV driving instructions. After a short practice session to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe, we will begin the ATV ride through breathtaking Andean landscapes.
- Along the route, we will observe intensely colored mountains, glaciers, herds of llamas and alpacas, as well as local communities dressed in traditional Andean clothing. We will also make strategic stops at natural viewpoints, including the impressive Red River, where you will have time to take photos and enjoy the scenery.
- At the end of the ATV circuit, we will arrive near Red Valley. From this point, we will take a short hike to the Red Valley viewpoint, located at approximately 5,036 meters above sea level, where you will witness one of the most surreal and colorful landscapes in the Andes.
- Afterwards, we will continue with a hike of approximately 45 to 60 minutes descending through the valley until reaching the impressive Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain. Here, our guide will provide information about the geological formation and cultural importance of this incredible natural destination.
- You will have free time to enjoy the landscape, take photographs, and explore the area before returning once again to Red Valley to board the ATVs back to our base.
- Finally, we will enjoy lunch and return to Cusco by tourist transportation.
