Discover the best of Peru on a journey that combines history, culture, and unique landscapes. From the Pacific coast to the Andes, this program will take you through iconic destinations such as Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu.
You will begin in Lima, known as the “City of Kings,” where you will explore its historic center, colonial architecture, and modern seaside districts. Then, you will travel to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, where you will immerse yourself in its cultural richness and historical legacy.
You will continue to the Sacred Valley, where you will visit archaeological sites such as Pisac, Moray, and the Maras Salt Mines, surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes.
The highlight of the journey will be the visit to Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world, where you will enjoy a guided tour to discover its history, architecture, and mystery.
This program offers a complete experience, with organized services and the possibility of customizing every detail according to your preferences.
Full itinerary
- Upon your arrival in Lima, our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
- In the afternoon, you will begin a city tour visiting the historic center, Plaza de Armas, and Plaza San Martín. You will also walk through traditional streets such as Jirón de la Unión and visit the Monastery of San Francisco, famous for its catacombs.
- At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
- After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cusco.
- Upon arrival, you will be transferred directly to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to facilitate acclimatization. Along the way, you will visit a camelid interpretation center, where you will learn about species such as llamas and alpacas, as well as traditional Andean weaving techniques.
- Then, you will explore the archaeological site of Pisac and its traditional market. Afterwards, you will continue to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch.
- Finally, transfer to your hotel in the Sacred Valley for rest.
- This day you will explore some of the most representative places of the valley.
- After breakfast at your hotel, we will head to Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress that still preserves its original streets and structures.
- Then, you will visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a complex of salt pools set within the Andean landscape, and the agricultural complex of Moray, used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory.
- Afterwards, you will continue to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch.
- At the end of the tour, return to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
- Very early in the morning, you will be transferred to the train station in Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.
- Upon arrival, you will prepare to take the bus up to Machu Picchu, where you will enjoy a guided tour through its main sectors for approximately two hours. This tour includes Circuit 2, considered the most complete. If unavailable, the best alternative (Circuit 1 or 3) will be arranged, so we recommend securing your reservation in advance.
- If you have an additional entrance ticket, you will have the opportunity to hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain on your own, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the complex (optional activity and subject to availability).
- At the end of the visit, you will descend back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch on your own.
- In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco, concluding an unforgettable experience.
- After breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy a tour through the city of Cusco.
- During the tour, you will visit the main archaeological sites near the city, such as Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay, important Inca complexes filled with history and panoramic views.
- You will also visit the Qoricancha Temple, one of the most important religious sites of the Inca Empire.
- In the afternoon, you will have free time to enjoy the city at your own pace.
- After breakfast at your hotel, at the agreed time, we will transfer you to the airport or bus terminal.
